Digital PR & authority.

Build credibility where your customers look for proof.

What others say about you shapes whether you get chosen.

Customers do not judge a brand only by what it says about itself. Publishers, industry sites, reviews, expert commentary, communities and third-party mentions can all shape discovery and preference. We earn the external signals that make a brand easier to find, verify and trust.

Our view

You cannot build third-party credibility entirely on your own website.

Owned content explains what the brand says about itself. Third-party coverage, recommendations, expert mentions and independent references are a different kind of evidence, and customers often look for it before they choose.

The same signals can also shape wider search visibility and how a brand is referenced across search and AI environments. How much varies, and we do not claim to know the exact mechanics.

Where authority comes from

Authority is built in different places.

News & publishers

Relevant earned coverage and expert contribution in the publications your customers read. Placement is earned, not bought, so we pitch what is genuinely newsworthy and say when something is not.

Industry & trade media

Specialist authority in the trade and industry titles where buyers already go for expertise, often a better fit for a considered purchase than mainstream news.

Reviews & recommendation sources

The independent sources customers use to compare and verify: review sites, recommendation and comparison lists, and the directories that matter in your category.

Communities & specialist sites

Third-party discussion and references where category knowledge is shared, from specialist forums to association and partner sites.

Search & AI discovery

Third-party authority becomes part of the wider information customers and answer systems encounter. Earning it sits here. Measuring how AI answers represent and cite a brand sits with AI search & GEO.

What this is not

Not traditional PR for PR’s sake.

We are not a corporate communications, crisis communications or press-office agency. Digital PR & authority exists because third-party visibility and credibility can influence discovery, search authority, consideration, preference and recommendation.

Where you need broader corporate PR, that sits outside this capability, and we will tell you so.

Ingredients

What earns attention.

Practical ingredients of coverage, not stages or a framework. Most stories need more than one.

A story worth covering
Something genuinely new or useful to a publisher’s audience. If it would not interest a journalist without the brand attached, it is not a story yet.
Expertise worth quoting
Credible specialists with something useful to add to a timely conversation, available when journalists need them.
Evidence worth referencing
Original data and research others can cite with confidence, with the methodology published so the figures hold up.

Scope

What Digital PR & authority can include.

Not every engagement needs all of it. Scope follows where third-party credibility is missing.

Where the work crosses into SEO & search performance, Content & search experience or AI search & GEO, that capability is scoped separately.

Measurement

Measure the authority we actually earned.

What the work earned directly, then what happened in search and the business afterwards.

Coverage
Placements · mentions · relevant third-party references
Authority
Relevant links · source quality · expert mentions · recommendation presence
Response
Referral traffic · branded search · organic visibility · leads or sales where observable

Coverage, links and referrals are observed directly. Movement in search or sales afterwards is reported as what the coverage may have contributed to, not as proof that it caused it.

Before you brief us

Questions, answered plainly.

01

What is digital PR?

Earning coverage, mentions, links and recommendations from third parties: publishers, industry media, review and recommendation sources, and specialist communities. It is visibility and credibility a brand cannot simply publish for itself.

02

Is digital PR just link building?

No. Links can be useful, and earning them is part of the work. The broader job is relevant third-party visibility, authority and recommendation, which matters to customers whether or not a link comes with it.

03

Is this the same as traditional PR?

No. Our work is tied to search and discovery, authority and measurable digital behaviour. We do not run corporate communications, crisis communications or a press office.

04

Can you guarantee coverage or links?

No. Earned coverage is earned. We control the quality of the story, the data behind it, who we pitch and how. Publishers decide what they cover, and nobody who tells you otherwise can deliver it.

05

How do you measure digital PR?

By what it earned first: coverage, the quality of the sources, links, mentions and referral traffic. Then by what happened afterwards in branded search, organic visibility, and leads or sales where they can be observed. A press mention rarely has a clean line to revenue, so we say which results the coverage produced directly and which it may have contributed to. We do not use advertising value equivalents.

06

Does digital PR help AI search?

It may. Earned coverage adds third-party sources and authority signals that AI systems can encounter. Whether and how AI answers represent and cite a brand is measured through AI search & GEO, and we do not promise that coverage causes citations.
